On May 2nd and 3rd, 2024, Etiquette Africa hosted its Maiden edition Conference in Abuja, an inspiring two-day gathering dedicated to human social capital development, refinement, and purposeful living. The conference opened at the NAF Conference Center under the compelling theme: "The Effect of Incivility on Africa's Development.
This theme guided robust conversations as thought leaders, policymakers, corporate executives, educators, and culture shapers explored how incivility undermines progress and how etiquette, values, and refined conduct can accelerate Africa’s growth. Alongside these high-level dialogues, young people took center stage as the Etiquette Africa Ambassadors, drawn from Etiquette Africa Clubs established across government secondary schools in the FCT-Abuja participated in an Ambassadors’ Forum on the second day. This dynamic session empowered students to exchange ideas, showcase leadership skills, and commit to championing refinement, confidence, and civility among their peers.
