Etiquette Africa Initiative is a registered non-profit organization established with a singular vision: to promote behavioral excellence and civility across the African continent. We operate on the deep-seated conviction that the holistic development of Africa is inextricably linked to the behavioral advancement of her people. In an era where global focus remains largely on technology and economics, we have taken up the vital responsibility of addressing the societal challenges caused by incivility.
Our Goals.
Our primary objective is to groom the next generation of refined, confident, and impactful Africans. To achieve this, we focus on:
Mass Sensitization: Reaching millions of Africans with people-centered behavioral excellence programs.
Youth Empowerment: Promoting patriotism and positive social behaviors among the youth as ingrained in African culture.
Educational Outreach: Getting value-packed books on etiquette and refinement into the hands of millions.
Environmental Responsibility: Driving collective action for environmental dignity through national “Clean Up” campaigns.
Sustainable Civility: Establishing structured platforms like school clubs to ensure the long-term practice of etiquette principles.
Our Story
Our journey began in May 2022 with the launch of our sensitization tours in secondary schools across Nigeria. Starting with limited resources, we set out to address the fast-eroding social values among the younger generation.
What began as a localized effort has rapidly expanded into a continental movement. Today, we have directly educated approximately 50,000 Nigerian youths across 55 schools and established Etiquette Africa Clubs in 40 institutions. Our reach extends far beyond the classroom through our media programs, such as the “Etiquette with Eti” TV series, which has reached over 50 million viewers on African Independent Television (AIT). From our maiden conference in Abuja in 2024 to our growing international presence in Kenya, Ghana, and Mauritius, our story is one of a relentless pursuit of excellence and a more refined society.
